Crumpet Creations Fursuit Terms of Service

A. Financial & Payment Terms

Age Requirement: Clients must be 18+ with a valid government ID. If the client is a minor, a parent/legal guardian must complete a video ID verification (Discord/Skype/Facebook) and handle all subsequent communication and payments.
Non-Refundable Holding Fee: A slot is only secured once the non-refundable holding fee is paid in full. This fee covers initial material costs and administrative time.
Payment Schedule: Construction begins once the project is 50% paid. The item will not be shipped/delivered until the balance is 100% paid.
Payment Methods: Various methods are accepted. Please note that PayPal payments incur an additional processing fee, calculated at the time of invoicing.
Delinquent Accounts: * Missing 3 payments without communication moves the project to the bottom of the queue.
- Missing 5 payments without communication results in automatic cancellation of the project.
- Communication is key—if you need to reschedule a payment, please contact the artist.

Deadlines: Artist does not work with hard deadlines but provides regular progress updates. Any estimated completion dates are "best judgment" and subject to change based on material availability or unforeseen circumstances.
Reference Art: The client must provide accurate, flat-color reference art. Specifications (design, materials, limitations) will be finalized before work begins.
Sizing & Fit: The client is responsible for providing accurate measurements and/or a Duct Tape Dummy (DTD) by the requested date. Crumpet Creations is not responsible for fit issues resulting from inaccurate measurements or poor-quality DTDs.
Design Changes: Changes requested after construction starts are subject to approval and will incur additional fees and timeline extensions.
Artistic Integrity: If the artist identifies a design element that is structurally "out of balance" (e.g., eye size vs. base scale), the client will be consulted before adjustments are made.

30-Day Manufacturing Warranty: For the first 30 days after receipt, failures due to manufacturing faults (e.g., popped seams, loose claws) will be repaired free of charge. The client is responsible for shipping costs to the artist.
Post-Warranty Repairs: After 30 days, all repairs and two-way shipping costs are the responsibility of the client.
Hygiene Requirement: Any item sent for repair must be clean and free of smoke, harsh chemicals, or significant body odor. The artist reserves the right to refuse work on unhygienic items.
Voiding Warranty: The warranty and repair services are rendered null and void if:
- The suit is used for NSFW activities.
- Damage is caused by neglect (e.g., heat damage from a dryer/flame, chemical exposure, or improper washing).
- The suit is modified by another maker without prior consultation.

Safety: The artist is not liable for any injuries sustained while wearing or using the product.
Allergy Warning: The artist works in a home with cats, dogs, and birds. If you have severe allergies to these animals, please do not commission Crumpet Creations, as dander/fur exposure cannot be 100% avoided.
Returns: All suits are custom-built; therefore, no returns or exchanges are accepted. Satisfaction is guaranteed to the best of the artist's ability, but no refunds are given based on subjective preference once the item is delivered.
Artist Cancellation: The artist reserves the right to cancel a project at any time. A refund will be issued, excluding the holding fee if the cancellation is due to client harassment or TOS violations.
Client Cancellation: If the client cancels, any refund of the remaining balance (minus the holding fee) must be negotiated based on the current stage of construction.
Shipping: The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. The artist is not responsible for price increases from shipping carriers or items lost/damaged in transit.
